Constraints better taken into account: Interview with Natalie Le Scouarnec, Administrator at Blood Sampling in Montreal

Fastercom: Hi Natalie, can you introduce yourself?

Natalie Le Scouarnec:
I am Natalie, a home nurse based in the Montreal area, Canada. For more than five years, I have been using FasterCare to organize and optimize my tours. In general, I visit around 30 patients per day.

F: Why use FasterCare?

NLS: The tools we used were no longer up to date, we were wasting a lot of time planning routes so that we had to slow down the growth of our business.

F: What were your goals when you switched to FasterCare?

NLS: The first thing was to make it easier to make appointments, to more easily manage our database of more than 6,000 patients. We also wanted to optimize the current routes and increase the number of appointments per week.

F: How did you deploy FasterCare in your company?

F: After a few weeks of use, what was the impact on your business?

NLS:
FasterCare allows us to quickly enter patient data and add them to the database, which makes it very easy for us to stay up to date. FasterCare offers us optimized appointments in just a few seconds. We have also increased our number of appointments compared to before and the roads are more pleasant because we spend less time in the car. But the most important improvement is the time saved in creating the tours: before, I spent 3 hours in the afternoon to organize my routes for the next day. Now, the tours are done “by itself” and I can use this time to devote myself fully to my activity and therefore be more productive! FasterSanté allows us to increase the number of appointments with the same resources. It is a complete management tool that allows us to control all the links in our activity.

F: FasterCare is available for purchase but also for rent, what did you choose?

NLS:
I chose to rent the software because I see it as a long-term partnership in the sense that I can ask project managers to make changes, customize the software more according to our needs. I purchased accounting software, but I have to pay for updates and for customer support...

F: Would you recommend FasterCare to a colleague?

NLS: Absolutely! The software allows us to respect our constraints (precise time slots for example) so that we can ensure all our appointments per week. In addition, the Fastercom team is very efficient and very dynamic, the technical service is very fast, we are dealing with humans and not robots!
