Junior – Developer and Solution Integrator

DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERNSHIP/JOB

Fastercom is recruiting for an end-of-study internship or an entry-level position with the goal of training its future Solution Integrator Developers.

This position is specifically designed to welcome motivated beginners eager to learn and grow. We focus on skill development: each individual will be guided at every step to become an expert in our software solutions.

Your primary mission will be to contribute to the implementation and maintenance of IT applications such as TMS (Transport Management Systems).

As a Solution Integrator Developer, you will be responsible for several tasks, including:

• Deploying, configuring, and developing software solutions within Fastercom's client environments.
• Enhancing scalability, robustness, and performance of the solutions.
• Developing expertise in the solutions to provide excellent technical software support to clients.
• Developing and executing tests to ensure the quality of the solutions delivered to clients.
• Contributing to system architecture alongside project and operations teams.
• Participating in drafting technical specifications, selected solutions, and planning their implementation.

Fastercom is a Canadian company specializing in transport optimization software. The company currently provides continuous service to clients in both North America and Europe. WANTED PROFILE

• DEC in computer science or equivalent, in progress or recently obtained
• Limited professional experience (end-of-studies internship or 0 to 2 years of experience)
• Ability to quickly understand the various components and logics of computer systems
• Ability to solve problems and communicate effectively
• Motivation and a taste for rapid learning to quickly increase skills and responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and motivation to work in a team
• Already legally authorized to work in Canada
• Ambition/Dynamism/Seriousness/Integrity and ethics
• Sense of customer service and the pursuit of excellence
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (Typescript is an asset)
• Database concepts
